About Legacy Janitorial Services

Legacy Janitorial Services is a locally owned building janitorial company based in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. The owner, Dan Moates, has years of experience in the Dallas - Fort Worth marketplace servicing office towers and buildings, medical office buildings, retail centers, surgery centers and event centers. 

Dan serves his clients as the President/Owner of Legacy Business Services and oversees the daily operations of all the accounts.  Often, he can be seen taking care of personal requests from his clients which testifies to his passion for providing quality service.

With 10 years of industry experience, he began his career as an Account Manager supervising the day and night staff, property start-up, inventory and quality control.  Not long after starting this career, he was promoted to overseeing multiple locations and millions of square feet of cleaning space as well as overseeing all aspects of operations eventually being granted the position of Director of Operations.

Prior to his career in the janitorial business, he learned and developed valuable customer service skills through retail sales and management, financial services, and other marketing positions.  A local, “born and raised” Texan, Dan grew up right here in North Texas then attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX.  Before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, he played on the University Golf Team and played trumpet for the University Concert Band and Abilene Intercollegiate Orchestra.
